Normally, the first step is the thesis mentoring trial. It includes a 4-page sample assessment from your thesis followed by a 20-minute trial consultation. The 4-page thesis sample is used to assess the present quality of your thesis writing. The 20-minute trial consultation includes detailed proofreading feedback. This step is also used to assess whether we are a good fit for each other. The thesis mentoring trial costs 30 €.
The next step is called the thesis mentoring dive. It includes proofreading the rest of the thesis and two 35-minute thesis mentoring sessions if the thesis is up to 40 pages long. For every additional 20 pages, an additional mentoring session is included. In my experience, the number of mentoring sessions distributed as above is more than enough.
If the number of the predicted mentoring sessions on the mentoring dive is not enough, then you can purchase additional ones. As I said above, this rarely happens.
Yes. If your thesis is longer than 40 pages, I offer 20% discount on every 10 additional pages.
I offer a full refund for the part of the thesis I haven’t proofread yet and the mentoring sessions that have not been held. There is no refund for the proofreading and mentoring sessions I have already done. Therefore, you should contact me as soon as possible if you decide to require a refund. I never had this happen though. I have this policy in place just to give you a peace of mind :).
I have a Bachelor of Science in Math, a Master of Science in Math Education, and a Master of Science in Applied Math. In addition, I have many years of research experience. Due to extensive academic training and experience, I have deep understanding of both, Math and mathematical writing. Thesis writing mentoring is a natural consequence of my knowledge and passion to help others think and write mathematically.
Please note that only those who grade your thesis will and should check in detail the correctedness of your proofs/content. Checking the correctness of your proofs/content falls into thesis content suggestion and that is academic dishonesty. I will teach you how to write but I won’t check the technical correctness of all your content. That is unfeasible, unnecessary, and unethical. You will take credit for the thesis so you should do all the work. I will guide you in writing a quality thesis. Isn’t that so much better and more rewarding?
Please note that I won’t write content for your thesis. That is academic dishonesty. I will do something much better: I will empower you to write a thesis you are proud of. You don’t need me or anyone else to write your thesis: you can do it yourself.
Absolutely. Thesis defense is an important part of thesis evaluation. The final thesis grade depends on the quality of the writen thesis and thesis defense. Please note that thesis defense coaching is not included in the thesis mentoring dive. It is a standalone service. One thesis defense mentoring session lasts 35 minutes and includes guidance on how to conduct a thesis defense.
